Les Arcs Ski Resort
Les Arcs is a wonderful, modern resort filled with inspiring skiing. Now linked to La Plagne, the "Paradiski" area offers a massive 420 km of pistes, including the Aiguille Rouge glacier above Arc 2000 and the Bellecote glacier in La Plagne, with guaranteed snow. The resort comprises of 5 self-contained villages at different heights: Arc 2000, 1950, 1800, 1600 and Plan-Peisey (also at 1600). Arc 1800 is the largest village, with a lively atmosphere and excellent access to the skiing.
Plan Peisey is the arrival and departure point of the Vanoise Express cable car which links the two resorts of La Plagne and Les Arcs. It has a number of bars and restaurants to choose from whilst Vallandry, about 10 minutes walk away, offers further choice.
