Situated in one of the most exciting, recent developments in the Alps, Les Chalets des Deux Domaines constitute an exclusive enclave of six detached chalets, just a short walk from the 'Vanoise Express' cable-car, at the perfect mid-point of the massive Paradiski area.
Chalet Ecureuil's layout has been carefully planned with family guests in mind. All the rooms enjoy superb views out across the valley, and on the terrace of each lower floor, accessed via the sauna room, is a luxurious, bubbling hot-tub spa to soothe those skiing muscles, so don't forget your swimming costumes!
The Ecureuil is built on a slope, connected by terraced paths and steps. Backpacks are recommended in preference to pushchairs for the nursery, in nearby chalet Hermine, although there is limited storage space for pushchairs in the ski-locker room, which is at street level. |

Catering: | ::back to top | | For six days of the week our chalet staff, prepare all your meals. On the chalet hosts’ day off, they will leave out a simple breakfast for you, and that evening you and your family have the chance to eat out in one of the local cafés or restaurants.
Breakfast: A choice of cereals or porridge, fruit juices, plentiful tea and coffee, local bread (and croissants or ‘pains au chocolat’ in France), cold meats, cheeses and preserves, and boiled eggs. This is normally presented buffet-style for you to help yourself.
Afternoon Tea: The traditional ‘welcome home’ after a day on the slopes will be laid out for you by your chalet host; typically tea or coffee and a delicious slice of freshly home-baked cake.
Children’s High Tea: Our younger guests are served high tea at about 5.30pm. Supervised by our staff, high tea provides children under 13 with a healthy menu, but tailored more towards children’s tastes than the main adult dinner. Puréed food is available for infants on request. Parents are asked to accompany children under 36 months, whilst children 3-12 years will be supervised by staff.
Adult Dinner: Our four-course chalet dinners start with canapés and an apéritif, followed by an appetiser, main course and dessert, accompanied by a choice of wines, and followed by coffee with mints or chocolates.
Special Diets: Vegetarian options are always available if you advise us in advance and other special diets can generally be catered for at a cost of £25 per person per week (giving at least 14 days notice for these). Please advise us at the time of booking.
Our Chalet Wine Selection: We are very proud of our wine selection which combines crisp and fruity whites with medium to full bodied reds, for a variety of palates. We select our wines in conjunction with a third generation family’s fine wine business. |
