Les Arcs is a brilliant ski resort; the slopes offer a great variety and some of the longest descents in the Alps. There is an excellent area of woodland runs and great cruising mixed with some hard core steep stuff. The Vanoise Express link with La Plagne means a truly vast terrain to explore - 425km in total in the Paradiski ski area. [NB - Following the closure last season of the Vanoise Express lift connecting Les Arcs to La Plagne the Paradiski press office have advised that re-opening of the lift is scheduled to take place on 20th Dec 08...]

The resort is made up of four villages, linked by road, high above the town of Bourg-St-Maurice. The villages are purpose-built, offer doorstop access to the snow, friendly après-ski and spectacular views of Mont Blanc.

Arc 1600 was the birthplace of Les Arcs, perched right on the mountainside enjoying south-westerly exposure throughout the season, ensuring perfect snow conditions. A real family resort, Arc 1600 is the perfect balance of tradition, modern practicality, intimacy and friendliness.

The Arc 1800 villages are the liveliest of the resort. Built in harmony with surrounding forests, Arc 1800 boasts shopping centres and extensive entertainment as well as a high performance ski lift taking you straight to the heart of Paradiski.

The new ski in/ski out village of Arc 1950 is situated right by a 60 metre high waterfall in the middle of a 300-year old pine forest and faces Mont Blanc. Three ski lifts provide direct access to Arc 1600, 1800 and 2000.

Arc 2000 is the departure point for the highest summits, providing direct access to the glacier runs and exceptional winter sports possibilities. This is the place for thrill seekers!
